Volunteering Opportunities Available. We Need You!
RSPCA Milton Keynes and North Bucks Branch has a range of volunteering opportunities available. We are always looking for people to help, and would love to hear from anyone who can lend a helping hand.
If you have a skill or talent that you think can benefit our organisation and a few hours to spare each week or on an ad hoc basis, we would love to hear from you.
Join our team and make a difference to the animals in need* in our area. Volunteering will enable you:

to put something back into the community

to develop your confidence and meet new people.
* All animal welfare volunteers must be aged 16 and over.
Administration and Branch Management
Running a local Branch like ours requires help, advice and support from all types of people.
If you have skills in accounts, administration, social media, website, animal welfare or retail administration, We Need You!
Whatever knowledge and skills you have we could probably use them!

Field Work & Trapping
Without our field workers and trapping team, we would not be able to help even half of the animals that we do! They work tirelessly on each and every rescue mission to bring animals into our care safely.
We Need You!
We are always on the lookout for dedicated and passionate people to join the team.
Trapping is a big time commitment and does require training as part of this volunteer role, it is incredibly important to ensure the safety of our volunteers and animals.

Fundraising and Event Support
With charity events running throughout the year, we need reliable people who can help with various roles, including but not limited to;

Money box shakers at carnivals

Setting up/down our stand at events

Baking goods for events

Emptying supermarket donation boxes

Helping at events
-
General fundraising.

Fostering - Cats and/or kittens and Small Animals
Fostering in the Milton Keynes area.
If you have time, love and space and would like to help out, We Need You!
We are often looking to expand our fostering network - this includes cats and/or kittens and small animals.
The branch provides all the food, litter, medication, etc. In return we ask you to look after the animal until they are ready to be re-homed.

Charity Shop Retail Assistant
Our shops are a vital source of income and we rely on our staff and volunteers to help raise much needed funds for the animals. We Need You!
There is always plenty to do in the shops with roles to suit everybody. It's a great way to meet new, like minded people and expand on new or existing skills.
We have shops in Newport Pagnell and Stony Stratford and you can volunteer as much time as you wish.

Corporate Volunteering
You may think volunteering is just an individual activity, but here at RSPCA Milton Keynes and North Bucks branch, we know that great things are also achieved through great teamwork.
