We adopted our cat Coco from the branch 11 years ago and we have 4 bantam chickens.

 

We started fostering in 2016 as my daughter stood up in her year 6 leavers assembly and said she wanted to be a cat fosterer when she grew up. We saw an advert for fostering on Facebook and we had our first litter a couple of weeks later. Since then we have fostered almost 100 cats and kittens. My favourite is pregnant mums as I feel so blessed to spend time with newborn kittens. My daughter is now 19 and is just as involved with bonding and socialising the cats and kittens.

 

I have been helping with the finance side of the charity for a year now and am taking on the role of Fostering Co-ordinator. I am looking forward to seeing how we can look at the processes and improve communication and the fostering network in the near future.
